Dr. Isioma Okobah is a Medical Doctor who graduated from the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN) College of Medicine Benin City in Edo State, Nigeria, with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery.

After serving her one-year mandatory internship and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), she proceeded to Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta Georgia, where she earned her Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH).
She spent her Residency in Family medicine at Emory University Department of Family and preventive Medicine; Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Okobah is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, the
Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and the Nigerian Medical Council.

She is highly involved in several volunteer and Community Services, Including yearly Medical mission from Atlanta Georgia to Delta State, Nigeria. She is also a member of several professional societies including The American Academy of Family Physician and Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. She is presently the CEO/MD, “First Lithonia Medical Center” Atlanta Georgia (USA). She is also the Founder of “Dr. Isioma Okobah Foundation”, a Non-profit organization that promotes living a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Okobah is equally the CEO of “Delta Doctors in Diaspora”, a Non-profit organization providing free medication to impoverished areas of Nigeria.

She is also the CEO/CMD , “Stephen Uche Okoh Memorial Hospital”, another Non-profit organization that provides healthcare and medication to those in the surrounding area of Igbodo in Ika North East LGA of Delta State.

In the light of this, she was honoured with several awards including the “2017 Prestigious Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physician Award”. The award is adjudged the highest honour bestowed on practicing physicians in America who have distinguished themselves among colleagues in their community and also excelled in the advancement of health care to the American people by their contribution towards the development of family medicine and by their professional development through medical education and research.
